2007 Breastfeeding Awareness Walk in CA

A Toolkit has been developed to help you make your plans a reality without having to reinvent the wheel. 

Toolkit

Step One:

• Review the Breastfeeding Awareness Task List (WORD) 

Step Two:

• Decide on the scope of your Breastfeeding Awareness Walk
• Write to Daisy Silverio, dSilveri@dhs.ca.gov, that you plan to organize a walk.  She will create a press release. 

Step Three:

• Read the Protected Form Instructions for the Breastfeeding Awareness Walk 2007 Forms (WORD) 

Step Four:

• If you solicit local Sponsors, see the Sponsorship Form (WORD)
• If you partner with Employers, see the Employer Sponsor Letter (WORD)
• If you have booths, see the Booth Request Form (WORD) 

Step Five:

• In California, the California WIC Association is seeking funding for Tee Shirts.
• It is a slow process and is not yet confirmed that Tee Shirts will be available.
• If CWA can provide Tee Shirts, the you can use the Waiver and Tee Shirt Order Form. (WORD)
• If you have local funding for Tee Shirts, use the Waiver and Tee Shirt Order Form. (WORD)

Step Six:

• Have a great time planning and implementing your Breastfeeding Awareness Walk.
