Each year, PHFE-WIC coordinates a community event
during August for Breastfeeding Awareness Month. This year, they are having a
Breastfeeding Education and Information Fair at four locations throughout LA County.
They have chosen four different hospitals in the LA County
area to co-sponsor and host this event. Hospitals are well suited for such an event
because of their visibility in the community and accessibility to the general public, WIC
participants, and hospital staff.
They plan to have 15-20 organization and vendors that relate to
breastfeeding at each location. Please check the location of the fair below that you
would like to attend. Each fair is on a different day in August and the time for
each one is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free admissions to
all locations.
