out so that you, your clients, and your friends know
about the lactation rights guaranteed by California
law.
Federal Breastfeeding Legislation
Representative Carolyn
B. Maloney has introduced federal legislation,
called the Breastfeeding Promotion Act, that would
shield mothers from discrimination for
breastfeeding, encouraging new mothers to
breastfeed. Maloney has also released two Congressional reports on breastfeeding.
